This italic nib features a smooth, rounded tip with slightly flattened sides, offering two distinct writing surfaces: a broader downstroke and a fine horizontal stroke.

The “cursive” in its name reflects the flowing, elegant script it produces.

Cursive Italic nibs –  you might hear the word “cursive” used when describing a kind of italic nib. This is usually where the nib master smooths the contact line of the nib and the corners so that what is contacting the paper is a little smoother and more forgiving for normal cursive writing. These nibs usually offer mild feedback as compared to an Italic.

You can select between 3 choices of surface finish– polished stainless steel (SSF) (offering a sleek silver appearance), 14k gold plating (providing a timeless gold look) or Dual Tone (Top half in SS finish and bottom half in 14k Gold plating)—the distinction is purely aesthetic, with both options delivering the same outstanding performance.

Exclusively crafted for our Desire, Heritage & Legacy fountain pens (can be fitted into other KW pen models on request).

Additionally, each nib is interchangeable, allowing you to effortlessly change styles whenever inspiration strikes.
