Medium Left Oblique Steel Nib Unit #6

An Oblique tip is where a conventional rounded tip is ground flat at an angle of 15 degrees. If the angle is made from top right to lower left, the nib is a Left Oblique, and if the angle goes from top left to lower right then it’s a Right Oblique nib.

Left Obliques are most comfortable for right handers. Expect the line widths to be more subtle. The rotation of the pen in the fingertips is key. If you are right-handed, rotate the grip section (and thus the nib) towards your thumb. This position keeps the flat edge of the nib properly on the paper as you write. 

You can select between 3 choices of surface finish– polished stainless steel (SSF) (offering a sleek silver appearance), 14k gold plating (providing a timeless gold look) or Dual Tone (Top half in SS finish and bottom half in 14k Gold plating)—the distinction is purely aesthetic, with both options delivering the same outstanding performance.

Exclusively crafted for our Desire, Heritage & Legacy fountain pens (can be fitted into other KW pen models on request).

Additionally, each nib is interchangeable, allowing you to effortlessly change styles whenever inspiration strikes.
